Complete control of the wood supply chain is the first and fundamental factor which makes Arte Brotto and Foglie d’Oro unique. From obtaining the raw materials directly at the source, in company-owned forests and sawmills in Europe, to the creation of bespoke environments, each step of the production process is managed directly by the two companies in synergy: in this way, they are able to guarantee the certainty that the product is of the highest quality.
This quality goes hand in hand with the full respect for nature: the forests from which the trunks are sourced are managed correctly and responsibly, and are subject to precise and careful cutting and reforestation plans. The proprietary sawmills ensure that the first selection of the timber takes place near the source of procurement. There, the trunks are subjected to an absolutely natural seasoning, which can last up to two years before being shipped to the production site in northern Italy’s Veneto region, not far from Venice, where the manufacturing stage takes place.
